As another way to become a Crimson Workforce Champion, internships give you early access to rising talent, while giving students real-world experience that builds confidence, skills, and career readiness. You help develop graduates who are prepared, capable, and ready to contribute from day one.

It’s not just exposure—it’s impact.

To qualify, the internship opportunity must be an educational experience related to a student’s degree program, which allows the student to apply learning to real work situations. It involves a student, an employer supervisor, and a sponsor of the university.

An internship* may be a paid or unpaid experience, where the student may earn from zero to six academic credit hours (dependent upon the number of hours worked per week).

To be eligible for academic credit, internships must meet the following requirements:

• Apply to a given semester. Note: Most internships are 14 weeks in length – dates do not have to coincide with the semester dates.
• Involve a minimum of 8 work hours per week.
